How to create a pre-alert

A pre-alert lets our warehouse team know a package is on its way to your ShipEgy address.

From your dashboard, open Expected Packages and select Create Pre-alert. Add the merchant name, tracking number if you have one, a short description of the contents, quantity, and an estimated value. You can attach the order confirmation or invoice — this speeds up customs paperwork later.

You can list multiple packages from different stores in the same session. Once submitted, each pre-alert appears in your Expected Packages list until it arrives and is matched to your mailbox.
